The Anstine Lab is currently recruiting dedicated and creative computational chemists, chemical engineers, materials scientists, and computer scientists. Anstine Lab group members are expected to be excited about sustainability, decarbonization, chemical transformations, and/or polymer science. Advanced computer programming skills are encouraged but are not required so long as the prospective researcher is eager to learn!
If you are an interested prospective researcher, please contact Dr. Anstine directly via email: anstined@msu.edu
Future graduate students should plan to apply through Michigan State University’s Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science. In your application, please indicate the Anstine Lab on your interest form. During the application process, you are encouraged to indicate your topic interest and send a summary 1-page CV to Dr. Anstine’s email.
Current MSU graduate students are encouraged to consider joining the Anstine research group. You can schedule a meeting with Dr. Anstine via his email.
Prospective postdoctoral researchers will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Applications are handled directly by Dr. Anstine, and you will be expected to provide a CV and 3 professional references.
Undergraduate students are particularly encouraged to contact Dr. Anstine about research opportunities, as he strongly believes their education and involvement is an important component of a successful chemical engineering and materials science laboratory.
